EPHL ANNOUNCES CHANGES FOR INAUGURAL SEASON
The Eastern Professional Hockey League announced today that the Hudson Valley Bears will join the league as a new team playing out of the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie , N.Y. and the Ice Time Sports Complex in Newburgh , N.Y. The team will announce its head coach and first player signings as well as website, contact, schedule and ticket information in the coming week.

ACES CONCLUDE 2008 PRO PROSPECT CAMP

Last weekend the Brooklyn Aces held their first annual Pro Prospect Camp, at the Aviator Arena, part of the Aviator Sports Complex at Floyd Bennett Field. Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz was in attendance to drop a ceremonial puck to kickoff the weekend's activities. 40 players from around the globe were competing for 25 spots at the Aces' Training Camp that begins in late October.

BROOKLYN BOY BRANNIGAN POISED FOR HOMETOWN DEBUT

Over the past seven summers, the New York Mets have proven that minor league baseball can thrive in Brooklyn with the Cyclones. Aces Conclude 2008 Pro Prospect Camp - Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Last weekend the Brooklyn Aces held their first annual Pro Prospect Camp, at the Aviator Arena, part of the Aviator Sports Complex at Floyd Bennett Field. Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz was in attendance to drop a ceremonial puck to kickoff the weekend's activities. 40 players from around the globe were competing for 25 spots at the Aces' Training Camp that begins in late October. Each player was put through both on and off ice testing, culminating with three live scrimmages on Saturday and Sunday. The Aces will begin play on November 6th when they travel to Danbury to face the Madhatters. The Aces' Home Opener will be Saturday November 8th at 7:30pm against the New Hampshire Freeze at the Aviator Arena.

 The Brooklyn Aces are proud to announce their 'Play Like A Pro' program for the 2008-2009 season. The Aces are inviting all youth hockey teams comprised of players 12-and-under to participate. Your team will be invited into the Aces Locker Room before the game to meet the Aces players. The team will play a mini-game during the 1st intermission of the Aces' Home game. After their mini-game the team will touch gloves with the Aces as they re-enter the ice for the 2nd period.

Each player will receive free admission to the game (up to 20 players) and free membership for the Junior Aces Kids Fan Club. Dates are filling up quickly so call the Aces' office at 843-492-7982 ext. 8105 to book your date today!!
